This is an one of a kind ORIGINAL mold for the Hemingray "Salesman Samples". It is said that the miniatures were given out at the 1933's World's Fair. There are lots of reproductions out there so be careful. The originals have sharp embossing and sharp drips. The repos tend to have weak embossing and poorly formed drips.
Info. on this Mold: it is from the son of a former Hemingray/ Owens Illinois Mold Maker. It was retrieved when O-I was in the process of closing the plant. it was scrapped. The mold is 24 lbs. and comprised of 4 pieces. The mini in the photos is a real one that I got some years back. The mold and insulator have been apart for 70 + years but back together for this picture :)
