All the water bottles manufactured by Hemingray are the "Bilby Style". Patented on April 5th 1932 by Earnest E Bilby, Licensed to Hemingray for production. Design Patent Number. 86,659. They come in 3 sizes, Pint, 1 Quart and 2 Quart. You will find them in 4 colors, ice aqua, 7-UP green, amber, carnival glass. The crystal clear ones are NOT Hemingray.
On the bottom of all Hemingray manufactured bottles you will find one of 4 on the bottom. HEMINGRAY, a Number, No Embossing or a Owns Illinois logo. If it has the Owens Illinois logo it MUST have a 26 to the left of the logo. All others are NOT Hemingray. 26 was the plant code for the Muncie plant after it was bought by Owens Illinois. All non-plant 26 bottles will also have the circular ring described above giving away that it is NOT Hemingray.
Franklin Reproductions
There are reproductions of the GE water bottle out there. They come in cobalt blue, pink, bright 7-UP green, ice aqua. Instead of having the GE embossing they have "Franklin" on them.

All Hemingray manufactured water bottles will have a large oval shaped ring on the bottom. If there is a circular ring it is not Hemingray.
