Globe Jars

These are the Wide Mouth Globe. The one on the left is a quart and the one on the right is a pint . Wide Mouth Globes are hard to find! To date the wide mouths only come in Aqua! See bottom for a picture of a 2 Qt wide mouth Globe.

Here is a picture of the 3 major colors and 3 major sizes! The one on the left is a amber pint the one in the center is a clear 1 Qt. and the one on the right is an 2 Qt Aqua. There is a 1/2 pint and a 1/4 pint Globe jar but are extremely hard to find! The amber Globes come in a wide variety of shades of amber. There are also SCA jars.

This is an interesting jar… 90% of the people I ask believe it to be Hemingray, I also believe it to be Hemingray! As far as I know only 6 of these have been found! Here is a 2 Quart Hemingray Jar embossed PATENT SEP. 18 . 1860 really nice jar and in good condition! Has lots of tiny bubbles.
Here is a example of a rare sheared top Hemingray jar. It is known as the "Mellon Jar" All I can say is WOW! Here is the ultimate Mellon Jar! it is in an imazing teal green.
